Eco-friendly materials for packing coffee

Our range of ecologically friendly and renewable materials for coffee packaging is available in several forms. Here are just a few of our environmentally friendly choices:

Coffee bags made of Kraft paper

Unbleached kraft paper is 100% natural, biodegradable, and compostable as it is made from wood pulp.

To shield the coffee beans from moisture, direct sunlight, oxygen, and other elements that might compromise their freshness, our Kraft paper bags for roasted coffee can be constructed with two or more layers.

One of the materials that is most easily recycled worldwide is kraft paper.

Coffee bags made of rice paper

The texture, distinctive look, and sustainable origin of rice paper are what make it appealing. Bamboo and the bark of the Qintan tree are two renewable resources used to make our rice paper.

Our rice paper coffee packaging, like that of Kraft paper packaging, may be constructed with two or more layers to provide your beans even more security.

Recyclable coffee packaging

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), a secure material that is readily recycled and reused, is utilized to make our environmentally friendly, 100% recyclable coffee bags (#4). In the food and beverage business, it is commonly utilized since it is lightweight, flexible, and resilient.

These coffee bags only feature two layers, as opposed to the customary three or four. During manufacture, they use less energy and raw materials, and end users may dispose of them much more easily.

Our LDPE packaging is fully customizable with an extensive selection of sizes, shapes, colors, and patterns.

Polylactic acid (PLA)

A resin derived from renewable resources, such maize, sugar cane, and sugar beet, is used to make PLA packaging.

PLA prints well when digitally printed. It is also completely recyclable and biodegradable, decomposing at a commercial facility in 90 days.

Extra features on coffee packaging

Decreasing food waste is just as important to sustainability as decreasing packaging waste. Our solutions help your coffee last longer on the shelf by keeping its flavor and fragrance intact. The following extras will guarantee that your coffee stays fresher for longer:

One way degassing valve

Our BPA-free, recyclable degassing valves prolong the freshness and flavor of your coffee, therefore reducing food waste.

These valves typically include five parts: a paper filter, a polyethylene plate, a viscous layer, an elastic disk, and a cap.

They may be concealed by the layers of packing or visible from the exterior. Degassing valves prevent oxidation and extend shelf life by allowing CO2 to depart while allowing no oxygen to enter.

Resealable coffee bag

There are several methods for resealing a bag.

We provide rip notches, tin ties, velcro zippers, and ziplocks. The ideal choice is often determined by the size, composition, anticipated lifespan, and individual preferences of your coffee bags.
